Philosophizing with a 17yr old...
People are quick to label themselves and others in order to make sense of the world around them. Unfortunately this can serve to confuse us even further. It isn't who we are inside that defines us but what we do. Lol. But we shouldn't necessarily define ourselves, instead liberate ourselves from the arbitrary boundaries that keep us from seeing how all these "definitions" blur together.

Motivation
We all need a little motivation every now and then. This helped me through this week but there's still more to do.

Kylie Minogue
This song is pretty catchy and the video is trippy, it's also a plus that Kylie Minogue is pretty attractive haha.
Tim Ferris
Just recently stumbled upon this guy after looking at travel blogs and packing minimally. Tim Ferris is the author of 4 Hour Work Week and 4 Hour Body. He's pretty interesting to say the least and I kind of want to get that first book of his, I feel like it'll be a good read.

Random thought:
Sometimes it feels like my mind is disjoint from my body. It's as if my mind is just occupying this body in order to interact with this physical world, but really it doesn't belong here. My mental image of myself isn't exactly what I see in the mirror and I don't know what it is. It's a weird feeling to say the least.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
It's raining here in Dominica and I'm stuck in this freezing classroom looking over notes with tea in hand. lol emo post kind of sort of.
Just re-watched this movie after awhile. Man it hits close to home. No matter how bad shit got with THAT ex (lol) and everything I'll never want to forget it all. You also realize how you could have and probably should have acted (But no regrets!). There are those moments that you just treasure.
I really like how in the movie he lives through the scenarios of their past and then snap back to the reality that he's going to forget it all. The good and the bad. You only feel the bad because of the absence of how good things were. I wonder what it would be like to go through each moment again with that someone in your past.
Great movie. Great acting. Great soundtrack.
PS. I don't know how to add tags any more to posts haha
