Sexy Sustainability
So I'm not sure if you guys know this but I am a bit of a treehugger, so I enjoy learning about green technology and simple sustainability in life. Two of the major focuses in regards to this are houses and transportation. I am an avid follower of simple living and small homes, and I just happened to find out about this dealio just recently:
The Micro-Compact Home
I definitely wouldn't mind living in a house like this. They even have a green option where they use both solar and wind power for the house. Being believer in the concept of "less is more" and striving for simplicity in life, I could definitely see myself living in a house similar to this. Although I would hope that the house I do end up with be mobile as I would like to travel too.
Randomly enough, I was watching Two & a Half Men where I heard about Tesla Motors. With Nikola Tesla being one of the great minds of technology, I had to look it up. It turns out that Tesla Motors is all about purely electric cars that perform just as good, if not better, than regular cars. Since then I have been following them and they now recently unveiled their new vehicle model. The Model X (as shown below) is like a cross between a minivan and an SUV.
Technology is beautiful if used properly. And I can only imagine what else is coming in the near future.
Just thought I should share that little tid bit haha...

I can say this weekend was life-changing.
On friday I had my first Standardized patient interview. I had to interview the actor/patient on their problem and also perform a physical examination including eye tests, reflex tests, and blood pressure. It was A LOT harder than I thought but it was really fun. It was hard because my patient was this really big woman and it is REALLY difficult finding a pulse in a thick arm. Also I had to tell her she was obese according to the BMI chart and that feels awkward lol. But she gave me a perfect score and I enjoyed the process a lot even though I was nervous.
Saturday was studying. Chilled with Maryann (the venezuelan first semester girl). MUST STAY FOCUSED. I studied with Alyssa too, randomly because she went to the computer lab I was and woke me up from napping while I was trying to study. Funny times. It's cool that we're talking more this semester. Not in a I want to get with her type way, but just in general.
Sunday was amazing. In the morning I went with the Ross Catholic Students Association to the nearby town of portsmouth and was involved in running a clinic. I had REAL patients! I was a floater so I had to help at various stations. I did patient interviews, eye exams, and health and nutrition work (there were approximately 70 patients attended the clinic). The patients were all local people from the Church of St John and St Louis. It was some next spiritual thing. I really felt like I was doing the Lord's work while also learning first hand the joys of being a physician. After that I had a volleyball game against Maryann's team LOL. My team won. Then Church was soooo good. Father Sharpless (our resident priest) literally started singing during homily and got everyone off their seats and singing. The choir was legitly on point too. I was able to spend the afternoon and night catching up with school and I killed my demonstration today.
After a mad stressful week where I felt behind... All I needed was some inspiration. Looking back, I was selfish last week and I expected people to cater to my needs but after catering to other peoples... I felt like my needs were addressed as well.
Stay Blessed.

I can finally hear out of my left ear again. LIFE IS GOOD!
Oh and I'm starting to take online courses for investing, so thumbs up for that. That's what I was sending to you Mike, just in case you may have thought it was spam. Also my phone is working again and I went for a run yesterday to start training for the 10K run in MAY. Things are looking good today and on that note I shall leave you all with a little song that makes me feel all happy inside for some reason. haha

Balance?
I feel like I'm lacking balance lately. I'm good Academically (killed the practical exam), Physically (basketball, volleyball, gym), Spiritually (Rosary on wednesdays, church on sundays), but now I feel like I'm lacking socially. Maybe because I closed my facebook and tumblr. My friends here go party. I don't feel like drinking or getting high no more so I don't spend as much time with them. lol I need nerd friends! Friends who I can go to the library with or just chill and watch tv with or something. The school material comes fast but life here is slow. It is refreshing not being the "social" one any more but it would be nice to have friends who didn't go HAM every chance lol.
On another note. When you guys cool to skype?
