(First/TopLeft: Quentin Tarantino; Second/Top: Jordan Pundik (lead vocalist of New Found glory; Lastt: Robin Williams)
So I was talking to Mike about Reservoir Dogs (which I have still yet to finish) and according to Mike Quentin Tarantino looks like the lead vocalist of New Found Glory. Not gonna lie he kinda does. But then while I was looking at pics to post to compare I thought to myself that they also vaguely look like Robin Williams... maybe it's just me ahah, oh well. (I think its the nose and roughly their facial structure.)
And if you guys don't know who New Found Glory, they're an american rock band. They were also one of the bands I listened to in my emo days. Here's one of my favourites from them, but I do warn you Mr. Pundik's voice can be kind of whiny... oh well I still like them as a band.
Enjoy and

New Found Glory - The Story So Far (Acoustic)
Saturday, 30 October 2010
4:50 AM...
restless even after such a busy day
one midterm
running to talk to school advisers
issues with picking up people
stuck in traffic
getting there late
running from the car to get to the studio
running around in the wrong part of the building to find the studio
2 sweaty shirts
3 drinks depleted
4 pieces of choreo learned
.
.
.
And still 1 song plays over and over in my head
.
.
.
It's now 4:59 AM
I think I'm gonna do choreo...

Island
Philip Glass - Island
Listening to this while walking around campus kinda gives me an eerie feeling that I'm in a movie.
(Cue the music)
The trees sway with the wind as red, orange and yellow leaves fall out of the trees floating by you. The leaves stumble across the ground, in unison as if they had a destination. People pass you by as you are walking to class, wearing hoodies, leather jackets and tuques. You can see them talking with one another but you can't make out what they're saying. You wonder what their stories are, where are they headed, but then you quickly brush it off as you continue on your path.
It kinda seems like the beginning of a horror film when everything is calm but you can feel a slight tension of things to come. Let's hope things don't get too weird.

The hills are alive with the sound of MUSIC...
Ahh...
Such a good movie, I know kinda corny but its a classic and an Academy Award winner.
Based on the memoirs Maria von Trapp, the main character.
The end kept me on the edge of my seat (I've never seen it before until today).
I do recommend if you haven't seen it, then watch it and if you have seen it then watch it again. I don't care if you don't like singing and sh*t. It's a movie worth watching if not for the singing then for the in-depth character development, the side-plot of WWII, the random funny moments and the fact that it's a classic (which people will penalize you for not seeing).
That is all... now go watch the movie.

We Will Share the Endless Passion of Immortal Love
Dracula:Dead and Loving it
This movie is definitely one of my favorite comedies (up there with Zoolander)! I used to pass around a bootleg VHS of this movie to two of my best friends and we'd have the whole movie memorized haha. good times. good times. It might not be as funny to you guys watching it now, but it almost had me peeing my pants EVERY time I watched it back in elementary school. EVERY time. enjoy!

another first...
Mario - Let Me Love You
This here video brings back some old memories.
I'm not sure when but sometime in elementary (gr.7 or 8) I watched this video and I honestly remember my very first attempt at dancing. I would close the door to my room and try the moves seen in this video. I tried to copy the choreographed dance sequence around the 1:27 mark, but only the small moves because I was pretty n00b-ish. This was before all the breaking, hip hop choreo and dance experience I have now, so I'm pretty sure this is what sorta sparked my interest in dance.
Also side note:
Because of this video I've always wanted to live in a loft where I can personally put designs on my walls like the ones shown in this video. And I'm pretty sure I tried to copy some of the art in this video which would explain why I draw some things the way I do now...
yeah... it's been quite a while...

Something Corporate - Punk Rock Princess
So I recently rediscovered this song...
the thing about it is that I'm pretty sure this is the first rock song I ever listened to and liked. It was in grade 8 and my Friend Maddy told me to listen to it and I thought it was pretty good. This was a turning point from listening to pop music and rap. It was a different and I like it...

How do you like your eggs...
So randomly I decided on looking up how to cook eggs and it turns out that my idea of a "sunnyside up" egg is really an egg made "over easy"... weird, I've been taught the wrong thing for years. It's all good though... apperently I like it over easy.

Mariel Martin & Keone Madrid "DAYDREAMER"
I know people have already linked and posted this maybe not here but facebook...
anyways I just had to repost it because I honestly watched this again and it just struck a chord...
the song and the dance fit together perfectly and I got this funny feelin...
"It's a little bit funny, this feeling inside..."
There might be something wrong with me, I don't know, this doesn't seem like normal behaviour even for me...

Surfer Blood - Take It Easy
Shouts to a clear.concept friend all the way in BC for showing me this song.
Oddly enough, the song is named after a phrase I say often (if you haven't noticed). I thoroughly enjoy this sound its very chill and upbeat and I encourage you to listen to more of this band. They are apparently a relatively new band coming from Florida which would explain their surf rock/ indie rock sound. But yeah its a good listen especially since its out of my regular genre or miscellaneous mainstream music and other random finds...

KG & Posters
[Kina Grannis - Just The Way You Are (Bruno Mars Cover)]
Noice, mix of old favourite with a new favourite.
I realize I don't usually listen to female artists. I think it's an issue of relating with the subject matter of their lyrics. But, I think with KG I've made an exception. I can honestly say I'm not the type to obsess about an artist but Ms. Grannis is one talented individual... I just might have to cop her album (check her site for details).

Soft tings.
I won't lie... when I hear certain old slow jams or classics such as this, I think about which song to play at my future wedding dancing for the first time with my future wife. This song is definitely a contender. shiiiiit Ted Mosby movements. LOL.

Butch Walker - Take Tomorrow
Good song, heard it from a friend and I've been listening to it... I like their sound...
I think I`ve become pretty emo recently but not excessively, just been doing alot of thinking...
So if you don't care for reflective posts don't bother continuing.

OK What da funk...
So I just had some weird dream... and you were there, and you were there, And you were there (O_o)
But yah... so I just dreamt that I went to some concert or musical/play. I saw a couple of people I knew from Sauga and some from Waterloo because we were all watching. I think we were in some VIP seats or something because the actors were walking around before the start of the show talking to the audience. Out of nowhere someone in a huge pink dress sits next to me and turns out it was the actor to play cinderella ...But in a pink dress..? weird.
So sitting beside this pretty woman with a pink dress on naturally I asked if I could take a picture to show that I was sitting next to her. She basically brushes me off and says "Can we not." and I was in shock like What de Funk!! but it did look like she was stressed, so I says to her I says, " Alright its all good" kinda in suave I-dont-give-a-funk kinda way.
But then she starts talking to me and she starts to ask me if I can do something for her. Curiously, I ask, "What is it?" So she pulls out this little baggy with a pill and shit, then asks me if I can sneak this pass the guard and she'd meet me outside so she could take a hit of whatever it was. At first I considered doing it and I began to stand up... but then I thought about it and sat back down next to her. I told her, " You don't need this, you'll be fine. You can do what you gotta do without this".
She was caught off guard for a bit as if no one had ever refused to do it before. She then gets up and leave and I just continue talking to my friends. A couple minutes pass and somehow everyone seems to have drinks in their hands and all in glass cups or something. Someone begins talking on the announcement system as if the show was about to start... then I hear someone cutting off the announcer and taking the mic. Turns out it was Cinderella and she was about to make a speech too. Oddly enough I can't remember what she said but I believe it had something to do with not wanting to do the show anymore and quitting. Immediately, I knew it was my fault. My friends then begin to ask me, "What the heck did you say to her?" and then one or two of my friends throw their drinks at me. I laugh and said, " Hah, it barely hit me", but then people saw this and soon everyone was throwing their drinks around like a food fight but instead of food throwing their drinks.
So after all he drink tossing is over everyone evacuates the building and chilling outside. All I remember is that after going outside and finding my friends the first thing I say is, " Where do you guys wanna eat?" Then I woke up ... and realized... its lunch time.
BRB im hungry ahah.
